Has the FA Cup been weakened by the loss of Man U ? We all got on our high horses and moaned when they dropped out last year, now they're in and they're out and we have the same scenario again, no Man U in the 5th round of the Cup.

The mackems & manu have the same playing style - launch it then fight for the knock downs, only Sunlun have a better finisher in Soupykev. Should be an evenly fought contest.

However much we dislike to Mancs they do anything but launch it, are you trying to wind LR up?

The secret of their success is workrate, which will probably be matched by the hackems but Manure move off the ball in such a variety of positions that they tear teams apart unless you track them all.

This movement is something which I think has been creeping into our game, with attacking players such as Lua-Lua and Dyer who are constantly running into space. Bassedas will be a crucial figure once he adpats to the pace of the game because he more than any other has the vision to be able to see the run, think of the pass and make the pass.

The increased movement by players was a factor of succesful teams in Euro 2000, like Portugal and it is only evident recently that we have taken notice. Manure have been doing it for years and that is why they are so successful.
