Michael Carrick - from West Ham United to Arsenal / Liverpool / Manchester United (West Ham`s manager Redknapp says Carrick is staying).

Peter Reid (Manager) - from Sunderland to Valencia (The former Man City manager is said to be on the shortlist to replace Cuper).

Fabio Capello (Manager) - from AS Roma to Manchester United (A possible candidate to replace Alex Ferguson when he retires).

Juan Veron - from Lazio to Manchester United (Talks said to have occured). Veron: "I've had four enjoyable years in Italy and the time might be right to look for another challenge. The one place that really excites me is England - I would love the chance to play Premiership football."

Denilson - from Real Betis to Galatasaray (Argghhh - oh well, he might become cheap three months into his contract when he wants out).

Alessandro Del Piero - Del Piero: "I have an excellent working relationship with Juventus but at the end of the season I will have to assess my situation. The club and I have to sit down and also talk about the various rumours.

Rui Costo from Fiorentina to Real Madrid for 15 million pounds. Rui Costa: "I will regret having to leave Fiorentina where I have played for a long time and have a large and lovely house. But anyone would appreciate the appeal of playing alongside a player such as Figo." (This I find interesting - Why are of River Plates top young players jumping ship?)

Pablo Aimar - River Plate president, David Pintado: "I have spoken to the player and he has reiterated he wants to leave. Given this situation, it is going to be difficult to keep him. We have to respect the wishes of a player who wants to secure his economic future. In Spain they can pay amounts that we could never dream of here."

Javier Saviola - River Plate to Barcelona. Saviola: "I might join, I can't deny that. I would be happy to join them since I will not consider other offers. However, my club reached no agreement with them yet."

Andres D' Alessandro - River Plate to West Ham. D' Alessandro: "I know all about the interest of West Ham and we're working on that. My manager is talking with the people at West Ham and we'll see what's up. Of course, the English Premiership is one of the most important leagues in the world and I'm looking forward to playing there. I know Liverpool, Manchester United, Arsenal and also West Ham. I know, too, that there are some Argentine players playing there. I know the English style of play is a bit different from here. They play more in a rushing style. But I think it will be very important for me if I can go there. It will be very enriching to my style of play. I also know that I will have to face a period of adapting to the way you play. But I can do that, without doubt. I think I will have no trouble playing in the Premiership.
