The Tugboat Tug of War Challenge!!!

The teams must construct the most powerful tugboat possible in 10 hours. Their boats will be pitted against each other in a tug of war competition, the best out of 7 tugs will be declared the winner. As we've seen with the other boating competition there are a lot of possible designs & strategies. Also tugging against an object that is tugging against you will also poise some interesting challenges.

Brilliant. Who considers these suggestions and how can we cast our vote?

There's a theme to most of the challenges. There has to be at least two very distinct ways of doing something. The problem with a tugboat episode is that it would boil down to raw power. They like to pit the small and light against the big and powerful and it would be hard to come up with alternatives here like that.

This is a great idea.

Who is to say each team has to make only one tugboat? One team could try and make one monster tug, while the other team might try and make two or three!!!

I like it. I loved the power puller and the fire boat episodes. This would be combining the two.

There is more than one way to build a tug boat. One could be a paddle wheeler and the other a propeller. Both would be large and powerfull. That would be a great combination for us "MORE POWER" kind of guys.

I like it.

You would probably have to change the title to "Tugboat Chalange" and change the competition to "

2 timed chances for each team over a set distance with a standardized load to pull through the water."

It's an idea that should float.

I think we have a show!
