According to those mathematicians at the Sunday Sun:

Toon Chase New 'Yorke'

Newcastle look set to miss out to West Ham on a striker dubbed "the new Dwight Yorke".

They've been confirmed as one of five clubs who have attempted to take Yorke's Trinidad and Tobago team-mate Nigel Pierre on trial.

The 21-year-old's agent has admitted: "These clubs want to take the player in and have him for two weeks pending a transfer: Charlton, Newcastle, Man City, Southampton and Watford.

"These clubs have said: 'Please can we have the guy come to the club and train with us'.

"But ultimately the guy is not at a level where he needs to go on trial anywhere now."

Pierre appears to have opted to join West Ham having already visited them for talks.

Hmm. Charlton, Newcastle, Man City, Southampton and Watford. Plus West Ham. To$$er$.
