Jeff or Grant, please e-mail me and let me know how to key it in so the picture opens right up like your did--I don't know that trick yet.

Jeff or Grant, I too don't know how to email a photo and have it pop up. Maybe you could explain in a posting to all of us computer luddites (me anyway's)--I'd love to send a photo myself. Thanks.

Let me mention once again - images only display if you reference the image, not an html page. Tim was trying to display an html page, which doesn't work. This only works if you try to display an image.

Rick - I think the reason your pic doesn't show up is because it is hosted at tripod, which blocks access from other servers. If you want, I can host it so it can be properly displayed.

In the meantime, here's a link to Rick's pic.

Mike Dixon;

What an excellent photo. Beautiful tonal quality, compostion, not to metion the model's expression at the moment of exposure. A Leica classic perhaps?

Am I the only poster at this site that uses color film?

-- Andrew Schank (aschank@flash.net), February 03, 2001.

I use color film, but only with medium format. I don't particularly care for the look of 35mm color enlarged past 5x7, but I go to 11x14 with black and white.

"I use color film, but only with medium format. I don't particularly care for the look of 35mm color enlarged past 5x7, but I go to 11x14 with black and white."

There's a simple solution to that Jeff - shoot slide and never print!

Here is one I took last Friday night at the bar "8.0" in Fort Worth. 50 Summicron at 1/15 sec. and f2. Delta 400 in XTOL 1:1, printed on MGIV RC Glossy and scanned.

OK, how do I make a picture appear in this forum?

-- Dan Brownn (brpatent@swbell.nnet), February 05, 2001.

The answer is above, but to make it even easier, if you want to post a photo here, click on this link to find out.

Here is the above mentioned image:

What is good about this image is how it will make my future stuff look better as I improve my style annd technique. :-)
