The team that can build the best drill and drill the deepest hole in one hour. This is cool because a friend of mine and I went sixty feet with plastic tubing, a water hose and a hell of a lot of pounding. It took all day, someone with some brains could do a heck of alot better...

two types of drilling rigs. Rotary (RD)(Think cordless drill) and Cable Tool (CT)(Think hammer and chisel). I've worked on both. CT takes MONTHS to drill 5000 feet oil well. RD takes 5 or six DAYS. If my expert even suggested ct I'd overrule him as captain and build ROTARY.
