Glenn Hoddle - from Southampton to Tottenham Hotspur (A fee of £750k is reported to be the cost that would take the former Spurs midfielder back to White Hart Lane as manager)

This seems inevitable to me as long as Hoddle keeps doing a decent job for S'ton. It's only a matter of time - the Spurs 'fans' hate GG passionately, and still love Hods.

Tactically, I think the man has few peers, if only his PR was as good. From a technical point of view, should still be manager of England. He seemed to get it right most times, didn't have to adapt during the game much apart from holding on against Argentina.Have to say I read his England World cup diaries when they were on sale - sad, his putting the penalty loss to Argentina down to bad vibes in the stadium and the referee. Should have just taken it on the nose...
