I've got a question regarding Rock Paper Scissors. Carter pulled out a condom full of crack from Anne's guts. Now I'm sorry if i sound stupid, but how on earth did she get that in her system? did she swallow it? did she stick it up her, um, buttocks? I just don't see how one can swallow something that big. If someone can answer this, id appreciate it.

She swallowed it. Personally I wouldn't been able to. But some people will do anything in certain situations. Brings to my mind the lady that was on a few years ago that liked having medical procedures done on her and swallowed a bunch of medical equipment that was sitting on a tray.

Actually, swallowing condom(s) filled with drugs is probably the most popular method of smuggling, it's undetectable through airport x-rays, and it kills a lot of people too.

I believe there was a very old episode of ER where a guy from Nigeria swallowed several condoms filled with Heroin or Coke, and he died because one of them broke.

That's what I want to know. How the heck would you swallow stuff like nmedical equipment or condoms filled with drugs and not choke to death first? I too learn interesting things from watching ER.

LeeS was right about an old episode of ER about someone swallowing condoms full of cocaine. It was "Luck of the Draw," I think, in season one. Ming-Na Wen's first appearance (back when she still had a last name). A "body packer" comes in with about 30 condoms in his stomach. Carter sends Jing-Mei (nee Deb) in to perform a rectal on the guy and she gets stuck. Later a condom pops in his stomach and while attempting to resuscitate him, Deb accidentally shocks Carter with the defibrillator (sp?)

It was Luck Of The Draw that ER had the patient who swallowed the condoms filled with cocaine and one popped, but I don't think he died. They were trying ti recusitate him when Deb/Jing-Mei shocked Carter. After that, I think he went to surgery and lived, although I'm not positive.
