Shakespeare Anticipated GW Bush's Inaugural Address

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Unk's Wild Wild West : One Thread

Literally tens of millions of Americans believe in prophecy. I wonder what they would make of these prophetic words of Wm. Shakespeare. I see evidence here that Shakespeare foresaw GW Bush's inaugural address, if only through a glass darkly:

"...a poor player who struts and frets his hour* upon the stage** and then is heard no more***. It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing****."

NOTES

*The inaugural address was only 15 minutes, symbolizing an hour.

***But we will be hearing a lot from his handlers.

****Doesn't it just make you want to cry at the sheer beauty of it?
