How about a challenge to throw eggs (or other suitable fragile foodstuff) the longest distance possible without breaking them...?

Something like the pumpkin chunkers or missile launchers challenge -- except that the eggs would change the nature of the challenge altogether! Because as Robert said, "we're MEAN like that".

Any device would be allowed - trebuchet, cannons, rockets, etc.

AFAIK they are going for altitude, not distance, and the challenge is restricted to rockets only.

The egg challenge I propose would be completely different.

Really like the egg launcher idea, but think you can change it just a little bit.

Have the two teams make an egg machine gun. Object to shoot 100 eggs, not all at once at the other team who is shooting at you! Your team can't get clogged by either your eggs or eggs shot at you. The team with the most egg slop on their side at the end loses.

This would be a blast!!!!
