The audio and video are not syncing properly while I'm encoding my vcds. Does anybody have any ideas? Thanks for your help.

It would help if you could list your hardware setup, capture software, and encoding codec.

I have heard that slow processors can cause sync problems with the most stable codec's though I've never experienced that even on my Celeron 266. The DivX codec with MP3 audio compression is well know for sync problems. They can be tweaked with a FramRate utility, though I find it safer to not use MP3 audio compression.
