I have a maxxum 800Si and three lens, 24-85, 100-300APO and a 50mm/1.4. I am interested to know if there is a 2x or 1.4x converter that goes with my lens. Whay are most converters designed for very specific lens and what happens if i use a converter that was not specified for my lens. I am especially interested in a converter to the 100-300mm APO lens.
