I am amazed at the small group who keep writing in whinning about Georgey boy. It's as if thier whole life teeters on this show. The fact is...there are millions of viewers who don't write in compared to the handful of you complainers. Wanna know why they don't write in....... because they are fine with the show and watch it objectively. But the complainers>>> Wow, Robert said "Bodge" ha ha he's so funny. George say's "Doo hickey" boooo he's stupid. You should hear yourselves. Quit watching!!!!Then we can watch the ratings drop .000005 % big deal***

Internet message boards ARE NOT an accurate sample of the population as a whole... do some research if you don't believe me! Besides, my Mom swears she never dropped me on my head as a child, and I have to believe her... Sorry, but I love George! (I loved Robert too, but life goes on...) Come on, it's a TV show! Don't major on the minors! I bet you are freaking out that we have a new President in the United States today! (BTW, I love GW Bush too!)

Statistics can say whatever people want them to say. Quite often it comes down to what the person making the decision believes. As far as internet posts not being accurate you've obviosly never heard of the Mentos candy posts. Maybe it isn't 95% but I'm sure it's a majority and i'm one of them. I don't hate George that much but the editing is turning me off.

Frank - Once again, one who complains about the "complainers" has oversimplified the issue. George is not the problem. He is symptom of the larger problem. Is it possible that you can't perceive the way the entire show has changed in tone, format and feel? The elements of the "original" that made the show unusually charming and entertaining are precisely those that have been eliminated! Of course it's still a good show, but it WAS a GREAT show.

I think it is high time everyone opened their eyes and sees that George is an almost perfect(Americanized) copy of Robert. George tells the same(Americanized) corny/crappy jokes that Robert told. George is just as annoying as Robert, the show is a nerdy show, George and Robert are both nerds, this is part of the appeal. The people on this board need to stop mistaking a british accent with wit.
