Hashan Kashloul has been made available for sale by S'ton after they have failed to agree on the terms of a new Contract. I believe he will otherwise be available on a Bosman at the end of the season.

S'ton claim his wage demands are outrageous "by their standards" - although it is reported he is presently not very well paid after being signed on the cheap from St. Etienne.

There was interest in signing him on here a few months ago after he had apparently said he would love to play for the Toon - to Bez, I seem to recall. Call me a cynic, but it seems to me he was probably just trying to put down a few back markers in anticipation of problems with his Contract negotiations.

What's the view now? Personally, I don't think he's any better than what we've already got.

I think he would be an ideal replacement for Glass.

Most of the games I have seen him in he has operated on the left, and if I may be allowed to say so (I wish this was yesterday and I could take liberties as it was my birthday) looked really good.

He can cross and score goals, a sort of Gary Speed with skill!
