I know the Winston-Salem Southbound received four ex-ACL M-5 cabooses numbered 667-670, with the first assigned to the HPT&D. Did they ever have a caboose numbered 0671? Does anyone know the history behind the WSSB caboose in Glade Springs, VA? Any help would be most appreciated.

Answers

The book on the WSSB/HPT&D only shows the roster going to #670 for the WSSB. No #671. Check under the car on the frame to see if the cars original number is stenciled there.
