tv display only quarter size in top left corner

im trying to encode an avi with the following specs

AUDIO = MPEG Layer-3,96 kBit/s, 48,000 Hz, Stereo

VIDEO = 352 x 240, 24 Bits, 55153 Frames, 20.000 Frames/Sec, 62 KB/Sec, MS-MPEG4 V3

but all i get is a small block on the top left corner of my tv when i play it on my pioneer 525 dvd player. i have encoded small avi clips when i was testing to see if it would would and most of them where full screen size. what are the correct setttings to have when encoding.

Huh? mpeg4???? you play mpeg4 with DVD player? How did you write the file to CDR? with what?

Another thing, how did you managed to encode AVI with MS-MPEG4 V3? AVI can be encoded using V1 and V2, but MS locked the codec for V3. V3 is strictly ASF format....

First of all the specs given above are for the AVI not the actual MPEG. Open your eyes next time and read the post again.

As far encoding MS-V3 which as you point out is for ASF. Any body can use this codec for encoding to AVI with the right hacked MS MPEG4 codec which can be found all over the place on the net.
