Lua Lua

Time to try the young'un on the left? Actually time to start most of the bairns. Basically becuase that's about all we have left.

At Colchester he played mostly as a left winger or as a substitute striker.

Start Griffin, Hughes and Quinn at the back. Lua Lua up front or on the wing and Ameobi upfront.

I think you're probably right Tre. He doesn't look comfortable in the middle to me, and looked better the other night when he went out wide.
When he's on the wing he can beat his man and give himself time to look up and use the ball: in the middle he always looks under pressure and unable to lift his head to see what's on.

It could be worth it against Leeds. Play 4-5-1 with Lua-Lua and Solano as the two wide men, leaving Speed (Hopefully), Acuna and Bassedas to occupy their normal central roles. When we are attacking Griffin and Quinn can move up to fill the gaps as Lua-Lua and Solano work off Ameobi.

Ameobi.

Obviously one of the three central players will have to sit in front of the back two when we are attacking. A bit of craft and a fair amount of pace. No Kewell for Leeds so their wing play will be restricted.

A thread so good they named it twice.

Good idea BTW - left wing.
