Pretty cool eh?! Mind you, it doesn`t take much to impress me these days!

On the down side, I will probably get less exercise with my little computer at arms length. BUT, at least I can see what my little band of furry warriors are up to!!

How are you Sting? Is life treating you well? (:o)

The good thing about laptops is they are dishwasher proof. I spilt a cup of coffee on mine, I stuck it in the dishwasher and it was fine. You should try it.

You'd forget the water in the dishwasher then Rik...

Pleased to hear all is good in your life Sting.

Rik, even I wouldn`t put my laptop in the dishwasher! (;o)

Right back to the grindstone - so to speak. Fingers crossed for a good match tonight. `spect I`ll be hearing from some of you on the match day thread! (:o)

i worked for a company who make the PCBs that go into IBM PCs, and all other sorts of electrical equipment (80% of phones sold in UK, which are then badged with Nokia, Motorola etc), the second last part of tyhe production process is the "water wash". This high temperature wash cleans the board of all rubbish (solder, paste etc) picked up in manufacture. The only problem with water is when you actually have batteries and electricity type things connected.

There you go, told you it was dishwasher proof. Thank you Macbeth, they think I'm some kind of nutta.

Now does that mean that honestly mean I can disconnect my keyboard and wash it in the sink? Sadly the ability to do that would make me very happy.

Hi Gal. I was beginning to think we'd lost you.

I'm getting really nervous about tonight's game - and Wendy has just told us we're on the telly 'cos the Dagenham game's been postponed. I can't stand watching us on TV - find it incredibly nerve-wracking. Somehow, I feel more in control when I'm there in person - and my wife will gladly tell you that I'm a 'control freak'.

Got to dash - I'm off to get a curry takeaway. Tell Pete I'll see him down there. ;-{)

Hi Clarky! I`m still around, just a bit over committed at the minute! Know what you mean about tonight`s match - we are always awful when we are on the television. Ooh nerves jangling already! (:o!

Do we have a new lady BBSer? Wendy? Sorry if I`m a bit late, but `nice to meet you Wendy` anyway! (:o)

I think we really need to know a little more about Wendy - especially with that e-mail address. Could 'Big Bro' be screening our posts, perhaps?
C'mon Wendy - give us a clue.

-- Anonymous, January 17, 2001

Hmm - I'm lying on me bed wi' me laptop. All very innocently, you understand.

-- Anonymous, January 17, 2001

I'm not new Clarky (in the olden days I was Dunston lass )I just don't post very often - don't worry about the email address, its no indication of power and/or influence. Now can I wash my keyboard or not?

-- Anonymous, January 18, 2001

By all means, Wendy. Wash your keyboard. You won't be able to do a thing with it though. :-))

-- Anonymous, January 18, 2001

I'll take that as a no then and continue wallowing in the muck!

-- Anonymous, January 18, 2001

Just tip it upside down and give it a sharp tap. You'll be amazed what falls out. I hear Pit Bill got a threepenny piece and a ticlet for the 1/6ds.

-- Anonymous, January 18, 2001

Wendy, how was Amsterdam?

-- Anonymous, January 18, 2001

"Dunston Lass" I certainly recall. Sorry for any confusion Wendy.

And a three ha'p'ny return to Penshaw Park.
