you have to remember that back then that marrying one's own cousin was allowed and was often sought after. It was the culture back then and not what it was today. You now that and i know that. We've all just been brainwashed by how society is supposed to be, not to mention that now we know more medical technology that prevents us from marrying our own first cousin if we chose to do so.
