Gullit is being inrerviewed re how horrod Eriksson's job will be and talks about Chelsea (with some bitterness). Then, turning to the Toon, he says: "The talent is there. Bobby Robson has already mentioned he is very pleased with the players that I brought in. But sometimes you need everyone's co-operation to achieve what you want to achieve." I wonder what he means by that :)) I also wonder how delighted Bobby is with Karelse, Dumas, Domi, Ferguson, Marcelino et al...

He is also being reported today as saying he believes Chelsea's decline can be traced back to his sacking - looks like he is finally 'surfacing', arrogance undiminished.

He does also say that there was a dressing room divide at Newcastle which has been sorted out now, which is why we're doing so well. I don;t think there's any doubting this after what we've seen.

This begs the question: What the hell did the senior pros think they were playing at? Jeopardising the club to sacrifice the manager?

He was a great one for his proverbs and things. How often did he say something like "In Holland, we have a proverb - the man with the biggest feet has the largest slippers" that was complrtely out of context.
