Grant......I'm sorted with tickets. Meeting up with my cousins lad at 4.00 on the M40 and then going to Warwick, picking up a couple of others there and then on to VP from there.See how it goes but we may have time for a pint before hand, (Cap 'n' Gown - same place as last year) but failing that, will have a walk along the front of the crowd at half time - may see you there......
Keep your eyes open

Has this match sold out or will the place be empty ??

Villa rarely fill their ground (unless the brummy man utd supporters wish to see their team playing there) so i'd say it's likely to be pretty dead.....25,000 is my estimate....

Must be tons of tickets still available. Century FM was giving them away all morning. Weird thing is half the questions they asked were about the Hackems (??!!).Where's the Cap and Gown? I'm coming down on the club's supporters bus, supposedly arriving at VP around 6p-ish. Could try to meet up with folks if it's not too far from the away end.

It's near the away end. Carry on along the street past the away end turnstiles and you'll get to a roundabout the Cap and Gown is on right over the roundabout. If my drunken memory serves me right

Ciara has just about got the size of it Kats.....just make sure you don't fall into the pub on the corner (The Aston Tavern) as it is the home pub.The Cap 'n' Gown has a small yard sort of thing in front of it with railing along the fence. Not the best pub in the midlands but close and away fan friendly.
Hoping to be there for about 7.00 - 7.15 if the traffic isn't too bad. 80)

Right then, will try to find whoever is around at the Cap and Gown. :-)Dougal, what time do you think you'll make it up there?

See you in the long bar at the Cap and Gown then lads n lasses , on me way up the M40
-- Anonymous, January 17, 2001
Allison, I think I'll be there by about 6 depending on traffic and how long takes Droopy Drawers (my Villa mate) to change his clothes.

Due to various delays, wound up not getting to the ground til nearly 7p, so sorry I didn't make it to the Cap and Gown, folks. Just went straight in. Have not been to sleep other than some kip on the bus and the flight from Newcastle to Gatwick, so excuse me now if my rambling gets worse than usual ;-)
