Des Hamilton

Looks like Des is making a big impact at Tranmere. I looked on the official website to see how he'd done at the weekend. The only mention was that he came on at half time, then nothing till the final whistle!

This is from an unnofficial Tranmere site.

John Aldridge brought on his new signing Des Hamilton at the start of the second half. Unfortunately this did not seem to help Rovers cause in anyway and the ball failed to make its way towards the Bolton goal with any conviction.

Is this a loan deal or has Hamilton gone for good?

Friends in Birkenhead seem to think that Dereck Hamilton is brilliant , but due to the lack of funds at both clubs the only way Tranmere could afford El Des, would be to swap his for one of their out of favour player. Defender Dave Challinors name seems to be coming up quite a lot. Is he any good?

He's the long-throw meister, isn't he?

>>>>>Dereck Hamilton is brilliant

Is he related to wor Des or is he a figment of YBR's imagination?

Dessie's real name is Derrick. Presumably became Des via Dezza.

Ah yes, I remember Challinor now. He's the one who holds the world record for throw ins, who terrorized premiership defences in the cups last season. Yes he would be a good trade for our Decka.
