Pilot dies in B.C. plane crash
PITT MEADOWS, B.C. (CP) -- The pilot of a small plane that slammed into the ground and caught fire died on impact Sunday afternoon.
Police had not released the man's name or any other information about the accident near Vancouver.
A local television station reported that witnesses said the plane was flying in a formation exercise with three other planes when it crashed.
The Department of Transport and the coroner are investigating.
