'Sven Goran Eriksson will see Kieron and if he sees how he played in the second half, he'll take note. His best position is as part of a three-man midfield - I wouldn't like to play against him there - but I don't think there's been a better player up front in the last six weeks.

Part of a three man midfield? Unless we're going to play 4-3-3 (We haven't got enough fit strikers for that!) it seems the next best way for a 3 man midfield is 5-3-2. That would make the move for a player like Quinn more understandable and with the ability of Griffin this is a real possibility. With the quote about Bobby having two centre backs lined up that would make sense with Hughes as the other CB. So next season:
Harper/Given

Griffin-AN Other-Hughes-AN Other-Quinn

Bassedas/Speed-Dyer-Acuna

Shearer-Cort

As long as Quinn and Griffin can make the role work,we could be onto something, but what about Solano? His trips to Peru may resurface so he may effectively provide cover and I would assume Acuna will start to make those sort of trips before long.

It also depends on Quinn fulfilling his promise at the club. I think it is too early to see whether he is the right man. I'd like to see how he fares against a really good right winger, keeping him in his own half.

It also spells the END for Glass.

3-man midfield has to be a 2-3-5. That'll make Kieron right half then ;-)

Glass gets frequently played as a right wingback in the reserves. Doesn't like it much as you would expect.
