Ya know Al, I think you got a firm grip on that there hammer that your using to close the lid on this case of the herd of mad cows. I can help you out with some more proof and I'm on your side all the way! Most of the mad ones are probably cross bred Charolais with a tad bit of Simmental. Actually the bulls get the most tempermental but if you buy out of southern Montana you might have better luck. But I seen a mad Angus cow one time that kicked the snot and slobber right out of a Charolais straight bred that out weighed her by 400 lbs. Tougher than twisted cougar shit! A person has to be real careful nowadays about what he buys or you end up with problems like this. I'm glad you and I agree and if I can help you give me a holler!

I went to that link and it talked about ONE cow in Austria. They haven't got it very bad over there at all. Christ, we got thousands of Mad Cows over here in this country. Just go to the local sales yard on any Saturday and look in them pens out back and I'll bet you can find dozens if not hundreds of mad ones that are fit to be tied. They've been drinken too damn much of that dark beer or they need to come down out of them mountains and get some air!

Al, for Christ sake, ya don't make jerky or beef venison any damn different than they did a 150 years ago. It's the same damn recipe. And shit, your goin to live longer than they did so what's the damn BEEF. Take a deep breath and let it out and than take another one. Look around and make sure nobodies goin to mugg ya in the next 10 minutes and I'll bet ya 100 bucks you'll wake up in the mornin live and kickin and you'll be proud as punch!

Al, I think we're getting a might closer to solving this mystery. You brought up the elk and deer game issue and what you need to know is they're eating the same buck brush, buffalo grass, multiple wild specie grass forage that they have eaten for the last 465000 years. And like I said, we and the natives prepare it just like we have always done. Now if you want to look at somethin that looks a might suspicious, take a hard look at the commercial preparation, preserving, and packaging of these food items such as nitrates. But as far as the red meat industry is concerned, you can't find a safer segment with more safety concerns than this quarter. I'll tell ya right now, I'd rather dive into a USA T-bone than a Mexican rump roast any day. Ya never know when any of them foriners are mad at ya. Did you ever go out for dinner and not be satisfied with the way your meat was cooked and send it back for a second try. DONT EVER DO THAT! Here tell lot of that tender juicy look is actually the chef's loogy after he hacked up a lunger on ya. It's called gettin even! Same thing with cross the border imports. You just never know do ya!
