Xtol development time

greenspun.com : LUSENET : B&W Photo - Film & Processing : One Thread

I need some help. I am about to process 2 rolls of Tmax 400 in Xtol 1:1. I have never used this developer before. One is a 24 exp. and the other a 36 exp. What time should I allow for developing and at what temperature?

Thanks in advance.

All desired combinations can be found on Massive Development Chart: http://www.digitaltruth.com/

There is a printable development chart available at the Kodak wbsite as well. It includes all brands of film but only gives times for full strength XTOL and 1:1.

Thank you Marc and Robert. I read somewhere the times listed by Kodak were a little on the short side and sometimes lead to thin negatives. I therefore added an additional half minute to the recommomended time. Film is drying now but a cursory look shows well developed negs. That digital truth is a great webb site Marc.
