When can we expect a return of the English?

I agree with many that the show has changed with the invasion of the Americans. I don't know how many of you are English. I'm American and our entire family watches this show, but have seen a significant change in the show since the new host and the American teams. Why did they have to screw up a good thing? I loved the unique quality of the English version. Kathy is phenomenal, Robert added great comedic balance. It brought a dimension of culture into our living room that made the show that much more interesting. I can watch bloody Americans anytime. Bring back the English.

Yes I agree Keep it English. No yank team should compete with other yanks.

The new host is extremely annoying. What happened to Robert?

I just think the Americans are trying to assimilate everything they can get their hands on. This won't be the last thing, who knows, maybe Kathy will ejected. God forbid.

I don't have a problem with American or English or anything...but you can really tell a difference in the attitude. I belive it's been mentioned alot how there is a different attitude..poor sportsmanship if you will. In the English version....sure they joked around....teased each other....but it was all in Laughs. I can almost put up with George.....but Why keep a show with just americans..or just English, Bring in Different Nationalities.....just teach them good sportsmanship

Hmm, well I my self love the show. The idea of teams competing in building kick a$$ machines out of junk is just something we would all like to try. However I have been let down by the changes in the show. The new host is an annoyance, and has no place in the junk yard. You see him scream for more power, yet you know he's got to be a fairy at heart. I do still like the concept of the show. It's golden. However the American teams so far have just been plain retarded. I really want to see a bunch of artists and a gang led by an M.D. go at it, rather then 3 burly bikers and engineers.(not) The only thing that hasn't changed is the British female host. (But now that I've said that she's sure to disappear DONT GO KATHY). STOP RUINING A GOOD THING AMERICA. JUST COMPETE, DONT CHANGE IT.

oh yeah BRING BACK ROBERT

It's unlikely that Cathy will leave the show. She's the show's producer.

Oh yeah like we've never seen a producers get bumped out of a show before. Be real. If the show is turning American (which we all hope it is not going to) then the hosts, producers, and the show entirely can change on a dime.

I think everyohe agrees that george sucks, he seems to be too much of a fancy L.A. type, not a guy that ever welded, drilled or had to make due with anything that was substandard. His english is also annoying "the car is too heavy in the booty" etc.All the hipster terms that i find really annoying.bring back robert.
