Now Solano is doubtful....!

To compound the bad news on Carl Cort, tonight's Ronnie reports further bad news:

Nobby Solano has picked up a calf injury to leave the in-form Peruvian sweating on his fitness for tomorrow's game with Coventry City at St James's Park.
And it's the last thing United and Solano wanted as he is due to play his last game tomorrow before he serves his suspension in Wednesday's FA Cup replay with Aston Villa at Villa Park.
Bobby Robson said today: "I gave the players Tuesday and Wednesday off because they were very tired after the Christmas programme. Then Nobby Solano reported yesterday with a muscle problem in his calf. There's a lump there and we think he may have suffered a haematoma without him knowing it.

Bloody marvellous!

Well if Solano isn't playing I don't possibly see how we can do without Glass, unless we're going 3 at the back with Griffin and Quinn as wing backs.

Ciara - did you see him? Was he training today?

My dog used to get them things on his ear because of flapping them at the mossies and ear mites in the Bahamas. Large blood blister things - just drained them off. Cant see it keeping Nobby out, especially as he's suspended on Wed. Just a thought
