21 Dead in China Air Force crashes

21 KILLED IN CHINA AIR FORCE CRASHES: Two Chinese Air Force planes, a transport plane and a training jet, crashed last Thursday, killing six villagers on the ground and 15 airmen, it was reported yesterday. The crashes took place within 10 minutes of each other in the central province of Henan, but it was unclear whether or not the two aircraft had collided. Details were scarce, as the Chinese government keeps a tight lid on affairs involving the military.
