What is your favorite episode (all seasons included)?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Junkyard Wars : One Thread

A friend and I were talking about the shows last night, and she asked what my favorite episode is. I'd have to say, for sheer humor, I loved the "walking machine" episode, that was the final for ... season 2? I laughed so hard I was doubled over.

I also loved the amphibious vehicles, and the one where they knocked down the bricks.

Of course, I love them all, and love all the teams. I'm glad there's a George and a Robert, because that means twice as many episodes!!!

My favorite was the raising of the car from the lake episode. My second favorite was the steam car.

Loved them all. I think the powerboat episode from last night was very good - one of the best yet. The piloted flying machine episode was very good as well - I never thought either one of those would get off the ground. The WORST episode so far was the steam powered cars - too many seeded parts to be any fun.

My favorite episodes are the ones where either both teams produce elegant machines that work wonderfully or one team fails in a most spectacular way.

So I loved the Hot Rod episode - two dreat dragsters that were really fast! I liked the bridging machine episode too. I liked the concept because it allowed a design with an engine and one without to compete on a fair footing. I think that's the only time this has happened in all the series.

The Metal Medics' boat flipping has to be the greatest failure of all time, beating even the poor Navy having to hack down their beautiful prop and trying to steer a car with the rear wheels!

Come to think of it, the Muncher spraying water everywhere and operating with a water cooler tank kludged to the top of the radiator was great too.

Dan, If you like failures, my all time favorite was the army boys giving a new, more literal meaning to "Muzzle Velocity" -- of muzzle, rather than at muzzle

Hey Jeff, Don't you mean "Muzzle Envy"?

My favo(u)rite episode: Beach Boys Canon. But then I haven't seen any of the first two seasons. Will they be aired on TLC?

That is tough! There's three or four that are right together.

Best ep: Amphibious Vehicles Runner up: (tie) Walking Machine, Cannon

Best machine: The Chaos Crew's wall eater Runner up: NERDS' steam car

Best Team: NERDS Runner-up: Megalomaniacs

My favorite episode was where Joey found out about Monica and Chandler. His expression is priceless.
