A return to the black socks is always an improvement in my mind. If we can just make sure we wear the black shorts we'd improve as a side!!

Wonder if they are going to do anything about how the NTL colours seem to clash with the black and white stripes? Wife being a fashion nut, made some rather colourful remarks about this season kit.

the purple and green looks nasty, very nasty at least we get our black socks back

If you look at the Rangers and Celtic strips the ntl isn't in the green and purple so maybe if they were asked nicely they would consider a black background with white lettering on it, which would stand out better than the green and purple in many respects.

It also makes the shirts more marketable IMO.

Thank God we're getting rid of Ruud's 'lucky' white socks. I've always hated them.

Is there any unofficial pics of the new kit floating around? Are we still sticking with black lettering / numbering whihc is near impossible to read? Is our away kit going to stay the same? I know that it is usually changed each season but I seem to remember reading a fnas pledge that kits would not change for 2 seasons (does this also aply to away kits?)

As for the ugliest kit, without doubt the barcoded number (Umbro) from the early nineties. Best kit without doubt is the ascics kit with the big blue breweries star on the front. I also liked the late 80's kit with the Greenalls sponsorship on the front.
