Apparently, the Football Club own somthing like 2-300 acres of prime development land around Brunton Park. This Scottish guy has bought it all for ca.£5 million - what a deal!
Seems like he is intending to amalgamate CUFC with some broken down Scottish Club, close down the former, and then sell off the land at a vast profit. Jackpot!!

We've got a Carlisle supporter in the office and he has been absolutely gutted all day since this story broke.....isn't it great to see Knighton being outwitted......who remembers his ball juggling shinannagens at OT.....smack the same don't it.......

I reckon the guy just wanted a ticket for the game and came up wityh this great ruse......laugh, I nearly fell off the chair!
