Geordie - Saints haven't been out of the top flight for 28 years unless the real reason behind Shearers absence is Alzheimer's

Q2 - I've heard the one about Hull City stacks of times and the answer is the stupidest one you can imagine - it's the only name which has letters you can't colour in. You know - when you colour in the 'o' or the 'a'. Naff or what?

I remember it was a question on 5live couple of years ago and there were calls from all over England, then after an hour they gave the answer and there were howls of protest. Of course, this could be a REAL question, in which case I can't help you mate...

2) No letters to be coloured in when it's written....such as O's and A's....

3) Shilton against Poland

Plymouth Argyle, Notts County, Tottingham Hotspur, Nottingham Forest, Preston North End, Crystal Palace, Sheffield Wednesday, Kidderminster Harriers, Leyton Orient, AFC S********d, AFC Bournemouth , Aston Villa, Brighton and Hove Albion
ooh, it's so frustrating when you've been away from the PC all day, come back in and find this kind of thing. I knew that Hull one! Honest! Don;t think you can get away with your AFC's in this one. And 'county', as pointed out earlier, is bollox - what about Stockport,Derby. 'Albion' - West Brom. How about Vale and Rangers?
Warren Mitchell??!!

-- Anonymous, January 11, 2001

What about Sheringham for number 4? Forest, Spurs, Man Utd?

-- Anonymous, January 11, 2001

3 Sorry to upset things but Bobby Moore's last game was against Italy in 1974, the goalie was still Shilton though !!

6 The Brighton ... Albion is negated by WBA, and Sunderland doesn't count, leaving 11

4 Not sure Stan scored a hat trick for Forest, only there a year in the Premiership. Think it's Sir Les and Big Al. Just checked and Ferdinand once scored consecutive hat-tricks for QPR !!

5 Uncomfortabe with Kevin Campbell as a 100 goal man, he only has 103 top class goals and that includes 23 in the First Division for Forest.

7 CowDEnBEAth, the Blue Brazil

4) Sir Les and Kevin Campbell

-- Anonymous, January 11, 2001

Hull City are called the tigers cause they play in Amber and black stripes.

They are also the only club stupid enough in the country to sell half their ground to a supermarket chain (NETTO)

We also have a Rubgy team of the same name.

Jay, according to the local news down here, Selhurst Park (Crystal Palace/Wimbeldon) is now competely owned by Sainsbury's.

At Christmas, Sainsbury's insisted that Palace move their match with Blackburn Rovers to the Friday (22nd) from the Saturday (23rd) so that the football crowds didn't interfere with people buying food for the festive period. At first the club apparently said they wouldn't move the match and then Sainsbury's pointed out that as they owned the ground it wasn't a request, it was an order......ergo the game was played on Friday.

That's how they paid for the new stand!
