Why does Cathy wear the same ugly outfit on every show?

I dunno, I kinda like the black/silver/grey industrial new-age look.

We had big fun with the wardrobe people by trying to use the elbow and knee pads for hats, j-straps, and other humorous things. The boots that are furnished are not at all comfortable. I was lucky enough to think to bring my own, which I spray painted black to suit the color theme before the filming. The jump suits are well suited to cool weather, but if it is hot and damp, they are extremely uncomfortable. The wardrobe person was really nice to us, and made sure that our outfits fit well. No, we didn't get to keep them, and they are not for sale. They are custom made, fire retardant, and they reuse them with the new shows.

I always kinda like what George has on. Never thought about putting all differnt shades of bluish grey together.

Hey, (george)Grey on Grey

Ok, maybe that was uncalled for.

I, too, like Cathy's slightly mainstreamed cyberpunk look.

Waddy, how do they reuse the jumpsuits? Aren't they printed with team names and logos?

Why does everyone on tihs show have either a big filthy beard or a massive mustache? Just in case they need a broom attached to their device or something?

I don't know all about how wardrobe recycles the jumpsuits, but we did ask about buying or keeping them while we were there. They are not uncomfortable to wear except that they are hot when the weather is humid. They are fire retardant heavy canvas, about one grade heavier than "Levi's" material and would make great work outfits for cold weather. They look good on screen, and Phenelope sees to it that they fit right. Maybe the logo comes out with some kind of trick fluid, where they can re letter them, like a washable ink. As for Cathy's outfit, it works well, and helps give continuity to the shows. She is the producer, so can wear anything she wants, and yes, she looks even better in person. She was very nice to all of us while we were in London, and cares about everyone involved in the production of the shows. She is an exceptional person, and has selected a staff with a clear view of what needs to be done to make the show work, and gets everyone's cooperation without causing anyone to feel slighted or left out.
