Mornin` All!

Hello peeps! Hope you`ve all remembered to wash behind your ears while I have been `away`!

Pretty poohey start to the New Year really, but finally, after following Gav`s and Clarky`s advice, my clever daughter sorted out my very sick computer. Can`t find out what sort of virus it had, but it was obviously the computer equivalent of ibola! No-one seems to recognise the description, which for anyone who is interested caused a large black hole in the middle of my screen with a white vortex in it. (I also kept getting a button on the task bar called `Spirale`).

Anyway, decided that the best option was not to try to save anything, and just recover the computer to it`s original state. My Virus Skan and Firewall are now reinstalled, but my New Year`s resolution is to consign anything with an attachment, straight to the bin. I believe the virus came in on Christmas Day (three times in fact) on a remotely generated e mail, with no `to` or `from` information, no text in the message box. All I can say is `thank you Santa Claus`.

So apologies for any unanswered e mails, and missed birthday threads. I believe I missed the one for Gus, so belated greetings to you, and have I missed Steph`s somewhere along the line? If so, Happy Birthday to you too.(:o)

Al, who works for my husband, and is a staunch Southampton supporter, took a look at my computer too. He`d never seen anything like it, but cleverly suggested that the virus may have been generated in Sunderland - black and white in a downward spiral! Haha! Very funny - not! (;o)

What, Tidy yet bare after another Christmas?

Welcome back Gal - we've missed you. Bin fighting and bitching among ourselves without your all powerful presence and "tut, tut" capability.

I told you it was broken!

Well done to the yellster for killing and resurrecting it....that can be a right old pain in the arse....

DeBuilder - got it one! Tidy, but positively stark! The first two months of the year are not my favourites - `bleak` just about sums it up!(:o)

Clarky - `powerful presence`? Boy do I like the sound of that! (;o)

Gav - Yep, she certainly did do well - I was very impressed!(:o)

Sooooooooo - who`s been up to what, and was it fun? (I shall not run my week by you - too grim to discuss). Tell me something cheerful, please! Just looked at the Shih-Tzu site and read all about Holly, the tiny Shih-Tzu that was tied up in a plastic sack and dumped in a culvert on Christmas Eve, in Oswestry. I just can`t get my head around that sort of mentality. So, happy events and chirpy stories only please! (:o)
