Familiar with the work of Marcus Uzilevski?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : San Francisco Art : One Thread

I currently own an original linear water color that was done by Marcus Uzilevsky in the 70s. It is entitled "A Soft Wind From the South" and consists of two panels that measure 39" x 26." Poster and card art spilled from the brushes of Mr. Uzilevsky and his work became immensely popular for quite sometime. Can anyone fill me in to the current value of his work from this period?

I don't really know about him, but I know I love his art. Where did you find that info on him?

I've had the painting I referred to for about 20 years. He is a Bay Area artist but has done many different styles over the years. I'm still trying to access the value of what is in my collecton. Check out his web page for further info. Good luck!

I have a print of a sea scape that I am also trying to evaluate it's value. It's at least 15 years old and bears "Editions Limited Galleries" beneath his name. I have not seen anything like it on the net.

Thanks,

Robbie
