Hi friends,

Recently I use capture card and PC-based software to transfer MiniDV tape to VCD. The quality is fair, too much blockiness and rather blur. I have seen a lot of commercial VCDs from mass production and they all look very nice. I wonder what kind of machine/equipment do they use to produce such a good quality VCD. Are there any machines to do this transfering job beside using capture card and PC?

there is a dvd recorder, wether you can connect your vidoe machine or minidv im not to sure, bit it costs $4000. goto www.dvd.com and look at the Panasonic’s DMR-E10 DVD-RAM Recorder.
