Yesterday's Game = 'Unbreakable'

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Unofficial Newcastle United Football Club BBS : One Thread

After the match yesterday I went to see 'Unbreakable'. It struck me that there were a number of parallels:
Someone known as Mr. Glass who's exact role is unclear (though he is very susceptible to injury)
A kid who won't shoot.
90 minutes of boredom with little prospect of an exciting sequel.
Any more?

Mr Glass seems such a likeable fella who we all feel some sympathy for yet behind all that he really is the evil nemesis.

The kid won't shoot because two grown ups tell him not to. Maybe he really does need to pull the trigger in an effort to see what really does happen when you do?

Good guy (Nobby) realises his role and puts people out of their misery! Uncanny.

In both people paid money to ga & see it and no doubt Unbreakable will be on terrestial TV soon. Both had twists But neither Ginola's nor the films' were as good as they were before.
