Post what you want, but don't use my name

Forum:

A little while ago I posted a "chemtrail" thread as a joke, and returned today to find someone else had started a new chemtrail thread that looks suspiciously like I wrote it, when in fact I DID NOT. Link to Poser's thread

To poser:

GET YOUR OWN HANDLE JERKWEED. I don't want people mistaking my (correct :-) ) opinions with yours.

If I make an ass of myself, I want it to be ME doing it, and not someone else. Get the idea?

Good,

Frank

Just a bump for the people who only look in "new answers".

Or what?

School starts again tomorrow, Frank. Things will likely settle down then. Be flattered. At least the troll didn't set up a thread where he argues with himself using five or six different personalities. I think he only used three on that one.

FranK:

We are sensitive aren't we. I looked at the post. It doesn't use your email address. My guess is that you aren't the only person in the world named Frank.

Best Wishes,,,,

For someone who's intentionally skewed other people's "handles" without thinking twice, you sure are persnickety when it comes to your own. Funny how the dynamic changes when the shoe changes feet.

Dis:

You are not accusing me of being a troll, are you?

Watching, you said,

For someone who's intentionally skewed other people's "handles" without thinking twice, you sure are persnickety when it comes to your own.

If you can post a link, or even jog my memory as to when I've EVER posted in a way that I claimed to be someone else, I'd like to see it.

Z,

It was similar enough that at least Nemesis thought it was me. I assume others did as well, just didn't post on it. And while there are assuredly others on the net named Frank, they don't post in that fashion on this forum that I've seen. Frank

Please refrain from jumping to conclusions and reread my original comment. You were not accused of hijacking someone else's handle, you were reminded about instances where you've bastardized someone else's handle. When you exhibit such a careless attitude towards others that energy is bound to come back to you as a lesson. Perhaps with your newfound insight and protectiveness towards your "identity" you will be more understanding and less mean-spirited in the future.

Naw, what am I thinking....Frank and "sensitivity" are oxymorons. Never mind.

Sumer, why do you keep putting those stupid squiggly lines in your text?

-- (dumb@just.wondering), January 08, 2001.

sumer puts in those funny lines because she can!

-- (Ididn'ts@y.she.wasdrinkingagain), January 08, 2001.

Oh, um pardon moi!! those there squiggly's are supposed to be arrows pointing up to the text above.

Since I'm not drinking I shall hereby endeavor to make ya'll happy by no longer asserting my cyber right to add squiggly's.

Now, back to the topic at hand.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh..................THAT'S what they are.

I always wondered.....

See,

You missed the boat. To be a lesson, someone would have to refer to ME by a bastardization of my handle and have me be offended (something that Lunacy has already done, BTW). To have someone (in a sense) make people believe that I had posted something when in fact I hadn't is a TOTALLY different issue, but I suppose a distinction like that is too subtle for you.

Naw, what am I thinking....Frank and "sensitivity" are oxymorons.

No they aren't. They are just words in your sentence. An oxymoron is combining opposite terms, such as "jumbo shrimp", or "Decent-See". If you're going to anonymously insult someone, at least get it right.

Some people never "get it". You're just too fucking dense for words!

-- DUH ("Sensitive"@Frank.not), January 08, 2001.

"Duh",

First, it seems to have escaped you that these are two different issues. I won't bother to explain it to you, as you don't appear to want to learn.

Secondly, you said,

You're just too fucking dense for words!

This is really the crack-up. You start "anonymously" posting about how my being rude to others will have some Karmic consequences for me and follow by ending each of your posts with a more scathing insult than the last!!

If you really *believed* any of the crap that keeps spewing from your blow hole you wouldn't ACT in the same manner you decry. Why do you expect ME to follow the preachings of someone who behaves so abysmally themselves? If this is what the philosophy did to you I want no part of it.

Disgusted with you,

Frank
