Organic Opportunity

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Countryside : One Thread

Hi All. Our Ag radio station had an announcement this week that sounded worth checking out, so I did. It appears to be legitimate. A grain company in IL needs organic grain for both human & animal feed and is now contracting with growers is 17 states for 2001 production of soybeans, corns, wheats, milo, and others. They quoted per bushel prices of $10.50 for soy and $3.10 for corn picked up at your farm. For a free info packet: Clarkson Grain Company, 1-800-252-1638, or www.clarksongrain.com. I have not had personal experience with this company and cannot vouch for them, but thought the info might help someone here. Sandy

Thanks Sandy. This place is in Cerra Gordo, IL. About 50 miles from me and I had never heard of it. Sounds like something worth checking out. With corn at $2.11 and beans at $4.85. Thanks Again!
