Go to: http://bleemer2.cjb.net/ and then click the link "Convert RealMedia files to avi (and any other format you can view but not encode)" Converting .avi into .mpeg is well known.

i helped with the above method. I used to use snagit for this, but it seems the camtasia screen capture program works a little better. ALso for sound you do noth ave to foloow my crazy method listed. On the little horn on the bottom right of your pc screen go into that and under recording proprerties make sure "mixer" is selected instead of "mic" and this will record anything you pc plays from its speakers- -
