Villa Journalist says this about the match.

Who's hot? A David Ginola repeat of his Leeds performance, a display that put a dent in the theory that the Frenchman is only of use at home, would be welcome. This challenge has the same ring as Villa's triumphant visit to Elland Road and having plodded their way through at Chelsea without him, Ginola will be welcomed back.

Who's not? Dion Dublin had perhaps one of his worst ever games in a Villa shirt at Chelsea and, in a season when the club's leading scorer has struggled for form generally, that represents the bottom of a big trough. Dublin will get another chance on Sunday but largely because the options are so few for Gregory. But Villa desperately need Dublin to perk up.

What it's all about It's Newcastle (twice beaten finalists and semi-finalists in the last three years) v last season's FA Cup finalists. And a last chance for silverware for both. Say no more.

My verdict The scales have tipped slightly towards a Newcastle side who have responded spiritedly to injury trouble while Villa have lost Alpay from their back-line. It could go to a replay - but Villa will still need goals from somewhere.

Just the ticket Live on TV so this one is down to the serious fans. But if you do get a chance to take in a packed St James's Park for a Cup tie, take it. The atmosphere is electric.
