Does anyone know if Sunday's game is on TV in Amsterdam?

To the best of my knowledge its not being shown Wendy. SBS6 don't appear to be showing FA Cup games this year, and according to their web-site neither are Canal+ . However the Irish pub off the Dam Square (behind the palace, I forget the name) do have access to other satelite channels so it might be worth trying there. 'Durty Nellys' in the red-light area on the Warmoestraat might also be worth a go.

Clarky and Screacher, you'll be hearing from my lawyers. Granted the Warmoestraat (aka 'le rui de la vaseline') may not be the most wholesome part of Amsterdam, but the only thing that gets pulled in 'Durty Nellies' are pints.

Bugger. I'm fed up of being referred to Haddaway and Sh1te.

Clarky - if you've given up on the NY Resolutions, why don't you take a trip to Hamsterjam. I found this little guided tour when I was over there a few months ago. Let me know what you think - I didn't have time last trip.

"TOUR xxxxxxxxxxxxx - Dfl. 48,-

Via Holland's largest tunnel and the old harbour area of Amsterdam, you will be taken to the imposing 'Amsterdam ArenA' where a guide will introduce you to the wonders of modern architecture, advanced technology and the enormous dimensions of the soccer stadium. From the modern part of the city, you will move on to the oldest part of Amsterdam, the well-known Red Light District for a walking tour. There you will visit the Prostitution Information Centre, where you will hear about the background of prostitution in the city. You will then take a stroll through this exceptional part of Amsterdam. Ater this, you will have time to talk and relax with a typical Dutch drink at a real Amsterdam Café."
