Fupping hell, do you knock about with Bruce Willis - I'd've thought he'd be a more "gan forrapint" kinda bloke than the pictures.

He gets about a bit tony, i saw him mesel at the pictures in london just the other day!

Aah he's been a good friend for a few years now ever since I helped him beat that Alan Rickman blokey who was trying to do bad things. I never got the full credit for that!

Jay, you coming up for the game on Sunday or next weekend? Haven't met you yet.

No real plans other than the game. Was going to try to get to a match tomorrow, but the trains to/fm Leeds are a mess, and Darlington's FAC tie has been moved so they can make up a leage match. I'll probably wind up trying to recover from this miserable cold so I can drink on Sunday. :-)

Brandy and Orange! In large quantities.

Paid your forfeit yet Jay?

Running around after the gusette today.

hiro is in for a shock in Fremantle tonight, there is an Elvis impersonators contest in the main street tonight.

I guess the one big enough to stop the traffic will win.

Could not stand the bloke mesel like!

Hiro, where abouts in Freemantle did you gan for a drink. Wor Dog comes from a pub in Freemantle but I can't remember the name of it 9The pub not the dog whou is called Bo. Wor lass flew it all the way from OZ to London. After the flight and the Kennel fees for six months in Quarantine it must be the most expensive dog in history.

Alas qwe split up before the forfeit could be paid

Any ideas about the pub bake?

Rosi O'Gradys, Sail and Anchor, Newport, The Fremantle, Phillimores,

P & O, National, Orient, Nolfolk.......................

Gus, according to Wor lass it used to be called the Lordships Larder in 1989 but she cannot remember what it was called last time we were there in 1999 but it is on a big main street on a corner not far from the railway station. If it helps it has Red Back beer on draught.

When I was a young 19 year old whippersnapper I visited Fremantle for the Bicentenary. Took some pictures of some pubs so maybe these'll help:

Strewth!

Thats one of our regular pubs from work.

It is 1 corner down from where I am now sitting.

It is now called Phillimores. It os on the corner of Phillimore and Mouat Sts.

It was taken over by a gentleman with a gay disposition. He is an architect and restored/rebuilt the place.

When he bought it it was a bit rundown and had become a "Bikie" pub.

It looks pretty good now though!

Ta for that Gus it just brought back some strange memories for me seeing that word Freemantle. Will ask the lass tonight if it is Phillimores, I never remember Pub names I wonder why.

Next time you are in ask one of the older blokes if they remember a black shaggy dog that was owned by the Landlord around 1989. If they do, tell them that she is still going strong and living in London.
