Heh, we can nail out our own personal agendas here.

Answers

My personal agenda is world peace. Beyond that, I plan to get my groove on in the badassest way possible. Well, as much as my big head will allow. Which is a lot.

-- Anonymous, January 04, 2001

I'll be there with my tail shakin'!

-- Anonymous, January 04, 2001

Not in any particular order:

1.) Win lots of money 2.) Take lots of pictures 3.) Stay out of jail 4.) Kick ass, take names 5.) Hear y'all kareoke without having to do it myself 6.) Promote the MATH padding-free platforms

-- Anonymous, January 04, 2001

All those are good, my boy, 'cept that no-karaoke thing. You just HAVE to.

Ok, ok. You don't have to. But, I have to do "Summer Nights" with SOMEBODY. Who better than you? Seriously.

-- Anonymous, January 04, 2001

Y'all, where should we have the crowd meet on Friday night for the Pamie Dinner?

I don't know Vegas well enough to say. But, I think it should be somewhere where she can maybe give a little speech or something. Hee. She's going to hate it so bad, but she totally has to do it. It's Squishycon, for Lord's sake.

-- Anonymous, January 04, 2001

There are a whole bunch of those buffet-type things, which I don't really think would do if we want Pamie up there speaking. I'll check it out on that Vegas website and see what else is available.

-- Anonymous, January 04, 2001

I won't be in Vegas, as we all know, so please, PLEASE do one thing for me:

Have the Pamie Dinner at the Olive Garden.

-- Anonymous, January 04, 2001

Oh my God. We must. Looking up Vegas Olive Garden right now.

Do y'all have any ideas where the karaoke will be? Because I've found about a million places to go for that.

-- Anonymous, January 04, 2001

Pamie likes this place called Tong's for karaoke. I know nothing about it, but that's where she's planning on us going.

-- Anonymous, January 04, 2001

Okay. There's like 5 Olive Gardens in Vegas, and the closest one to the strip is 3 miles away. Too far to carry all our asses there or not?

-- Anonymous, January 04, 2001

Yeah, probably too far. A great idea, though. And if we asked her to do that, she'd be all "what are you talking about?"

-- Anonymous, January 04, 2001

Oh, man, the Olive Garden had me laughing.

I think we should karaoke wherever pamie says.

What about Hard Rock for dinner? It has to be somewhere we can make reservations

-- Anonymous, January 04, 2001

The Olive Garden: It's no Olive Garden.

-- Anonymous, January 04, 2001

Mayn, Mike! I was going to write DSAS about how Olive Garden is no...well, you know what it's not.

Now I'll just look like a big Mimicky McMeg if I do. Damn.

-- Anonymous, January 04, 2001

Mimikey McMeg!

-- Anonymous, January 05, 2001

I can't spell. She's not a mime.

-- Anonymous, January 05, 2001

Oh. See, Hannah, I thought Mimikey was a play on Mike's name. As in, mimicking Mike too.

So you did good with your typo!

-- Anonymous, January 05, 2001

Which is very funny, because Meg, back in the day, was all about Mike, yo.

-- Anonymous, January 05, 2001

Ok - back to Vegas. Where is the Friday night dinner?

-- Anonymous, January 05, 2001

I dunno. There's really no Olive Garden?

-- Anonymous, January 05, 2001

There is, but AB said it was 3 miles away from the strip. So, why? I wish we could take over one of the hotel bars or smaller restaurants or something. I just don't know anything about Vegas other than the hotels, so I'm at a loss.

-- Anonymous, January 05, 2001

Yes, we should do dinner on the strip. There's a good steakhouse in NY, NY but I think that might limit the Vegans. I'll ask around.

Now for the important question: what are you girls wearing? Oh, and Mike, you too. What are you wearing?

-- Anonymous, January 05, 2001

Poor Mike. Being the only MATHmale must be sort of tough with all the wardrobe talk.

I'm probably going to wear khakis and jeans all weekend. Maybe something a little shiny for dinner, I can't decide.

-- Anonymous, January 05, 2001

I'll probably bring jeans and short sleeve shirts. Maybe a pair of shorts. Maybe a pair of khakis.

No ties.

-- Anonymous, January 05, 2001

I am going to wear my uniform of khaki pants/white t-shirt, probably. I may bring a skirt for variety.

I'm so hip, I know.

-- Anonymous, January 05, 2001

I'll overpack, as usual, because I know no other way.

Okay - my personal agenda? Sing karaoke. Play at least one hand of blackjack so I can double down on 11. Meet someone famous. Bumb into Vanessa Williams and tell her she's my snow in June. Ride the rollercoaster at Ny,NY. Go up the Eiffel Tower a Paris. Drink for free.

Group agenda: Meet at Tong's on Friday night. Meet for lunch in the NY, NY deli at noon on Saturday. Dinner on Saturday night around 8. The rest of the time is up to you.

-- Anonymous, January 07, 2001

You go, H. That all sounds good to me.

-- Anonymous, January 07, 2001

The only very slight alteration I might make is to make lunch at 1 on Saturday, instead of noon, if people are actually going to be closing the kareoke place down at 5 a.m. the night before.

It all sounds great, H. You kick ass.

-- Anonymous, January 07, 2001

And girl, you WILL meet someone famous. ME.

-- Anonymous, January 07, 2001

Oh well, besides you, girl.

I'm going to post the agenda on the Squishy thread, but first, what time should we tell folks to meet at Tong's?

And Mike, I was thinking I'd email everyone and tell them the rooms are booked under our names, but I'd need to tell them your last name. Is that okay?

-- Anonymous, January 08, 2001

I think 9-10ish sounds good. That way everyone will have a chance to do whatever else they need to do before.

I have to find a MATH/Integer t-shirt before we go, or Al's going to be forced to stalk the Deathray Davies again. Suggestions?

-- Anonymous, January 08, 2001

I checked http://www.deathraydavies.com/

They don't have any I LOVE MATH shirts for sale over the web. I swear, I bought the last ones. We'll have to MAKE you one, AB. OH MY GOD - You're the only Integer...so you should just get a shirt with a big 1 on it. You Numbah ONE!

-- Anonymous, January 08, 2001

Yes! Like one of those old-school athletic t-shirts, with your last name pressed onto the back?

-- Anonymous, January 08, 2001

Yes! With a big ass 1 on it.

H, I like the Vegas plans. That all sounds good. I can't believe we're going!

-- Anonymous, January 08, 2001

I am so going to get one of those today.

-- Anonymous, January 08, 2001

Okay, what does MATH want to do for dinner on Friday night?

-- Anonymous, January 08, 2001

I just got my e-Ticket confirmation in the mail! Al, what are your seats? It has me at 15B there, and 15A back.

Y'all just want to eat somewhere in Paris, since we'll all be there anyway? The Vegas website shows they have about a million different restaurants. Oui?

-- Anonymous, January 08, 2001

I got mine faxed to me and it doesn't have seat numbers on it.

I say, dinner at Paris. Oui, oui!

-- Anonymous, January 08, 2001

Perfect! And I'm still waiting for y'all in the airport.

It sounds like Pamie'll be staying w/ Eric because she's only referencing NY,NY. Which is fine. Then we can have a MATH room and a Michelle room.

-- Anonymous, January 08, 2001

Michelle and her two friends are eating at Emeril's on Friday night. If we ate there I think Teri would have us all tarred and feathered before you could say, mmmm, crawfish.

-- Anonymous, January 08, 2001

...Or, "BAM!"

Emeril. That fuzzy little bitch, to steal a line from Anthony Bourdain. His place is better than Copelands, I guess.

-- Anonymous, January 09, 2001

Y'all we have to ride up to the top of the tower and have our picture taken. There are like 11 places to eat in Paris, so I don't think we'll have any problem picking a place to chow on Friday night.

Vegas really is Disney for grown-ups, isn't it?

-- Anonymous, January 09, 2001

Hannah-

That's fine about my last name. Sorry I'm getting to this so late.

-- Anonymous, January 09, 2001

Hannah, you're in at 3, right? And Allison and AB arrive later?

On the off chance I actually make it at 11, what I'll probably do is cab it to the hotel, stash my bags there (I doubt they'll let me check in, but I'm sure they have someplace I can store the suitcase), gamble for a couple of hours and then head back to the airport in time to meet y'all.

-- Anonymous, January 11, 2001

Aw mayn, that would be sweet but you don't have to do that, right? We can just meet you at the hotel. By the time we get there, you will have been able to check in and stuff and scope out all the restaurants for dinner.

Of course...if you come back to the airport, you can hang with H until AB and I arrive... but *I* wanted to meet H first so that she would like ME the best!

Hee.

-- Anonymous, January 11, 2001

No way -- we all have to make our grand enterance at the same time. I'll just stop in early for recon.

-- Anonymous, January 11, 2001

Mike - yeah, my plane lands at like 2:45. America West from Cbus via Phoenix.

AB and Al, what are your flight deets? That way we know what gate to go to! Hmm, you know, Mike, you could scope out some posterboard or something so I can make that there sign.

-- Anonymous, January 12, 2001

A sign?!? Hannah, I don't even know what we'd do without you, Little Miss Bossy.

Our flight is United 2717, and it arrives 5:06 p.m.

Have your party hats on.

-- Anonymous, January 12, 2001

Yes, yes. A sign...it's a MUST. Not that you'll have any trouble recognizing me and AB. We're like the Mutt and Jeff of the Deep South. I could put her in my pocket.

-- Anonymous, January 12, 2001

Mr. Toomey at Randall's used to call Teri and I Mutt and Jeff. And she's not even that much shorter than me!

Yes, MA-H and Integer united at the airport and it feels so good.

-- Anonymous, January 12, 2001

Mr. Toomah!

Hating y'all, hating y'all.

-- Anonymous, January 15, 2001

Ok, y'all. Tomorrow, Vegas will be the day after tomorrow.

-- Anonymous, January 16, 2001

I know! It's just too much. I'm already stressing about packing and painting my toenails.

Ack! Krispy Kreme at sunrise on Saturday, right?

-- Anonymous, January 16, 2001

Oh! Krispy Kreme is ON.

Hannah, that today being like Thursday comment made me way too nervous. It's so close!

-- Anonymous, January 17, 2001

Yeah, traveling days never count. So, it's really one day away. Because you don't count today either.

Saturday night we are so all over dancing. Isn't Hard Rock supposed to have an awesome club? Or am I imagining stuff again?

-- Anonymous, January 17, 2001

Vegas...is...tomorrow...

-- Anonymous, January 18, 2001

I! Know!

Hmmm. When are we riding the NY,NY coaster??

-- Anonymous, January 18, 2001

VEGAS!!!

I am beside myself.

-- Anonymous, January 18, 2001

~ Tomorrow! Tomorrow! I'll see my jags tomorrow! ~

-- Anonymous, January 18, 2001

Y'all! It's ovah. I can't believe it.
