Have them make a machine that will throw an entire car as far as possible. The one who throws the car farthest wins. This is different from the punkin chunkin because it would require a machine with massive power. It would have to throw around 2,000 pounds. I don't know how they'd build it.

I've seen a trebuchet throw a baby grand piano about sixty yard! Very impressive. Maybe they could toss an AMC Gremlin.

Hey Rick why limit to just Gremlins ? Why not all the ugly AMC cars. LOL The Pacer comes to mind for sure, but the Hornet is a close second. :-)
