I am not meaning for this to sound greedy or anything, but anytime I try to describe this show to anyone who has never seen it. They always ask what do they win (by they I am referring to the winning team)? I have seen the episodes for when the "Brothers In Arms" won, but all I saw or heard that they won was a trophy, if you call it that. Does anyone know? Not that I wouldn't watch, or apply (am organinzing the team now). But I would like to know, how serious to take it. Thanks for any info. I have another question, but will post it in another message.

They only win bragging rights. This would be enough for any true techie to want to be on the show, to prove yourself and show how much you kick ass. They get all their expenses paid and a small appearance fee.

The teams win a scrapheap/junk yard trophy and bragging rights. What most people fail to realize is that the show is actually an educational tool (designed to teach science/engineering) disguised as a competition.
