HI freinds

Using TMPGencoder why does SVCD come up as 480 x 480 which it shouldnt be? or should it? Because everytime i play it back on my dvd player using hardware the picture just runs in a square box in the centre of the screen. AnY help would be appreciated.

SVCD "is" supposed to be 480x480 (mpeg-2) In order to play it back properly you need an SVCD player. Not all software players (or hardware DVD players) can decode an SVCD.
