Fowler could become the next in Toon ?greenspun.com : LUSENET : Unofficial Newcastle United Football Club BBS : One Thread |
This must be the next rumour. Liverpool just got Litmanen, and Fowler did get into trouble the other night. He would be a top player, Im amazed everytime he has comeback from injury he scores like 4-6 goals in his first reserved match. And everyone here knows he's ability to score in the last minute.
Do we want this guy ?

Too injury prone and he'd expect bigger wages than Ferguson was on.

Not for me. Great player when fit but too injury-prone. Reports involving yet another 'incident' outside a pub at 2am confirm impression of a daft, irresponsible scally who doesn't look after himself. In any case I doubt we could match the fee Liverpool would demand for F****r.

Also him wearing that pathetic little band across his big hooter would piss me off more than Cordone's gloves!

For a minute I thought you meant Pauline. But not the one you're talking about. Too much, too late.

Poor Swifty; I seem to remember the F*owler rumour was one of your first 'taxi driver' experiences........;-)
For 5mil I'd have him like a shot.

Spot on Dunx - problem is the proposed fee is about £12 million, ie. about £11 million more than we've got.

What about £3 million now, Didier Domi and another 3 million after he plays 50 games?
-- Anonymous, January 04, 2001
More chance of signing Roberto Carlos for a quid than that one Rik!
-- Anonymous, January 04, 2001
More chance of signing Lord Lucan and Shergar!
-- Anonymous, January 04, 2001
I thought they were already part of our new back 3 with Domi?

Clarky and Gus
>>>More chance of signing Lord Lucan and Shergar!
>>>I thought they were already part of our new back 3 with Domi? I think you'll find that Lucan is sighted a lot more often than our back three. :-)
