iv just installed vp4 with winoncd 3.7pe and everytime im starting vp4 an error message comes up then another saying 'no cdr supported' is this normal? or do i need some drivers. please help!!!!! im using a samsung combo CDR/CDRW/DVD maybe its not compatible, maybe it is. can someone please help me with this. Thanks

VP4 is apt to throw tantrums when you install other CD mastering apps after it's installed on certain systems. And it may or may not behave as expected with IDE CD-R drives. The best thing I've consistently found out about VP4 installations is that it should always be the last such mastering s/w on my PC, and only with a SCSI CD-R drive. Either way you have to go to CeQuadrat site for the latest drivers; your Samsung may or may not be supported as it is.

Sorry I don't think i can help you but i was sort of hoping you might be able to help me!!! My friend gave me the Samsung Combo but I have not been asked to install any drivers. It normally takes more than one attempt to read cds but never reads blank CDs. Sorry i can't help you, but have you got any ideas what i can do or where I can download the driver???

A've problem like you have. Samsung cd-rw "SW408" and CEQUADRAT prof. Doesn't work together. Be hopefull!

I got the same problem you have. I flashed the combo and this fuckin cdr won't work and is known as an RICOH PROGRAM LOADER anyway , for the drivers, they are normally located by www.samsung.fr, but there are none of them available for the Samsung SW-408BEB.
